This is Makiyyah surrah and lots of meaning behind the title name; sincerity, pure or ''khalas'' finish and free from anything. This surrah also called as al Tauhid (talk about God), Tajrid (remove of negativity), al Saomad (the Eternal) and al Asas (foundation). Yes, it because this surrah  reveled to whom people before Prophet Muhammad era and after him in denial or doubt about; who is your Lord. Then, Allah answer them completely in this surrah.  Surrah al Ikhlas also have a special place for who ever reading it- likes read 1/3 of the Quran and likes who is perform Hajj and Umrah.
