Walt Disney: Learning By Reading Can Be Fun
dalam ‘article’ si penulis Walt Disney tentang ‘Learning By Reading Can Be Fun’
yang sempat aku baca, ialah:
“Curiosity may have killed a cat, but never yet has hurt a boy or a
girl-or a cricket, for that matter-seeking knowledge.”
`“If reading maketh a full man, then the lack of it must leave him
awfully empty-in the head!.”
“Oh-yes-he who runs may read. But make sure you run and read in the
right direction. And not too much either without the other, if you want to keep
happy and healthy.”
“Curiosity gets you started. Balance keeps you from falling overboard.
Timing keeps your reading smooth, without bumps.”
“There are fashions in reading, even in thinking.”
“It’s silly to build a wall around your interest.”
“You’ll be a poorer person all your life if you don’t know some of the
great stories and the great poems.”
“I tell you boys and girls one thing: There is more treasure in books
than in all pirate’s loot on Treasure Island and at the bottom of Spanish Main…
And best of all, you can enjoy these riches every day of your life.”
“So keep your eyes open.”
Akhir kata, mulakan amalan mulia
ini: sehari sebuah buku. Amacam??.
